The legendary live music venue in Miami, Hoy Como Ayer is more than just a nightlife destination—it’s a cultural icon.
Known for its intimate atmosphere, soulful performances and long history as a live latin music venue in Miami’s Calle Ocho, Hoy Como Ayer has been beloved by locals for generations. Over the years, their stage has seen acts ranging from Marc Anthony and Willy Chirino, to more recently Spam All-Stars and Rum & Coke. With a much anticipated reopening in 2024, we knew that their new identity had to honor their rich cultural legacy of being a beacon for the city’s vibrant music scene while also speaking to a younger, musically hip audience. The goal was to revitalize the brand in a way that blends the nostalgia of the past while celebrating the energy & soul of today’s international music.

Our design team went to work and created a combination of cohesive visuals across their website and social media platforms with a warm vintage vibe and classic record aesthetic. Together with their Marketing and Programming teams, we’ve developed HCA’s unique portfolio of branded assets for their ongoing event announcements, email blasts, and social media marketing campaigns.
